Shelburne & Shelburne Municipality: Here you can find activities on the waterfront (including kayaking, boating, guided walking tours, museums & dining). Nearby there are terrific birding spots, lighthouses and beaches. Visitors come from throughout the world to vacation in Nova Scotia.

The town boasts a fascinating history, which is apparent in its charming Historic Waterfront District. The site of a major Loyalist landing in 1783, the Shelburne area is home to one of the most active reenactment associations in Canada and to six museums.

On a leisurely stroll through the Historic Waterfront (the settling for the movie "The Scarlet Letter" starring Demi Moore and Robert Duvall), you will also find galleries and antique shops, gift stores, cafes, restaurants, kayak and bike rentals, a public marina and arts centre & theater. Highlights of the Historic Waterfront include the Barrel Factory, Dory Shop, Muir-Cox Shipyard, Shelburne Marina and Yacht Club and Canada's newest live theater venue, The Osprey.

Lockeport: The town offers all the amenities and all within walking distance. Enjoy fresh seafood at several restaurants. The Beach Centre Visitor Information Centre features a craft shop, canteen and various displays.

Unwind and relax in the quiet and peaceful surroundings or enjoy various local recreational facilities. Children may use nearby playgrounds. There are basketball and tennis courts as well as several smaller beaches to explore and all within the town. The people are friendly and always willing to chat about the history of the area and to give advice on what to see and do. Leave your worries and fears behind. We pride ourselves on how peaceful, safe and unspoiled the area is.

Barrington & Clarks Harbour: A wealth of fishing villages, sand beaches, museums and many heritage buildings. Barrington lays claim to be the lobster Capital of Canada! The Municipality of the District of Barrington was incorporated in 1879 and is located on the southwestern tip of Nova Scotia.
